Theme: Throwbacks
It’s throwback time! These AMVs each feature an anime from a different decade, year they began airing noted, starting in the 1980s and ending in the 2000s. To add an additional throwback element each also features a song from the early 2010s for bonus semi-recent nostalgia.
Bouncy fun action! This comes with genuinely smooth edits and some really fun bits of timing to the beat/lyrics. The transition between different installments in the franchise is well-done. It brings me joy!
The title really fits the atmosphere for this AMV. Some parts of this are just perfectly timed, it’s very satisfying. I also enjoyed the choices of overlaying characters quite a bit, when it works it really works. The editing as the song starts to really kick in is especially good. I really enjoy it!
A bit more of a storyline with this one. I love the song choice here, it’s great. The editing really stands out, especially in some of the more upbeat, rousing moments. The ultimate fate of our characters works and the emotional throughline is solid. A really lovely AMV!
